Summary

Old Infectious Diseases Block, Adelaide Hospital. The photograph shows a portion of the former Infectious Diseases Block and the Adelaide Hospital looking east. At this time the buildings in this block were empty, the patients having been transferred (about 1931) to the Metropolitan Infectious Diseases Hospital at Northfield. The building was demolished in 1938. It stood in the parklands near Botanic Road and Hackney Road.
